The backer is custom cut using the original backer as a template and is a replica of the original, ensuring a clean look and nice fit. Note the new backer is thicker than the original-twice as thick as later production models-and less likely to crack at the narrow points, a common problem with KLH grills. The fabric is a light beige color with a little bit of light brown in the weave and looks really nice with the walnut finish on KLH speakers. All new grills are test-fit before shipping. Velcro will be included.
