Front flyleaf of first volume bears an unusual philographic addition: Tipped in is a First Day Cover, standard 6½" X 3½", cancelled in Washington, DC on 12 October 1943 and bearing a 5-cent "Greece" postage stamp (from the "Overrun Nations 'Flag' Stamps of 1943" series) at upper right. Near fine. Red-printed cachet at left depicts Greek crest and text about Greece's invasion by Axis troops in 1941. Recipient's name/address inked at center.
