Description: Vintage Lakewood Chevy steel scattershield bellhousing for big or small block Chevy – originally started life as the Nova version 15050 – has had some professional modifications to convert it to P/N 15000 – Revision of Lakewood P.N. 15000 – old vintage P/N of #1500 – minor trims and fills from the conversion and starter pocket as shown - fits big and small block Chevy V8 and V6, ’55-’81 - Bell would work for 3 or 4 speed, 10 1/2" or 11” clutch - Bell has been checked on a surface plate and is perfectly flat across both sides on the block mounting surfaces – small ding on the bottom flange face that is only cosmetic – pics show it on the inspection plate – Bell housing has been cleaned up and is in “as found” condition – all threads are good – Bell housing has been cleaned up with a fresh coat of paint – includes vintage block plate #15701 – plate was laying on the ground and had some corrosion that was blasted away and left some minor cosmetic pitting as shown – good condition bell ready for your project
