Description: Lego Ninja set number 6093, Flying Ninja’s Fortress, was produced in 1998 and contains 687 pieces (as per Peeron.com web site), which is inclusive of 9 mini figures (one of which is a skeleton figure), 4 mini figure Samurai helmets, 2 mini figure rag hats, 3 mini figure Ninja head wraps with clip for holding a katana sword, 1 mini figure Samurai armor, 7 light gray katana swords, 2 muskets, 1 flintlock pistol, 4 halberds, 1 Samurai helmet horn, 5 lances, 6 spears, 4 goblets, 4 gold coins still attached to their sprue, 1 horse, 1 horse saddle, 6 ornamental fish, 1 treasure chest, 10 blue 2 x 2 hard plastic flags with golden fan pattern, 2 soft plastic 3 x 6 Ninja flags, 8 round plant bricks with 3 bamboo leaves attached to each round brick, 1 pair of dark gray soft plastic mini figure wings with feather pattern, 1 revolving wall, 10 sloped simulated rock panels, 6 white log wall panels and 3 green 12 x 24 bricks that serve as base plates. The set was purchased new by the seller in 1998, is, with one substitution, 100% complete and in excellent used condition, which means that there is minimal overall wear on the set’s pieces. A 1 x 4 x 3 light gray panel with closed studs has been substituted for one 1 x 4 x 3 light gray panel with open studs. Includes the original Lego 56 page building instruction book for the set which, except for two small tears and one small crease on the edges of the back page and one small tear and two small creases on the edges of the front page, is in excellent, almost like new, condition. The set provides for the construction of a Ninja fortress in six modular sections and the construction of a flying Ninja with soft plastic wings. Three simulated stone walled modular sections comprise the fortresses ground level and three other modular sections are buildings, each of a differing height. The simulated stone walled modular sections are connected by compression pins that hold the sections firmly in place but still allow them to be easily disconnected. The three modular buildings are firmly anchored to the three simulated stone walled modular sections but are still easily removed for placement elsewhere. One modular building is a two story structure, a second modular building is a three story structure and a third modular building is a four story structure. The sets modular construction allows the builder to create set configurations that differ from the two set configurations shown in the building instruction book. The two storey building has a room on its first level and a fighting platform on its second level. The three storey building has a room on its first level that contains a revolving wall with a skeleton on one side of the wall and treasure on the other side of the wall. A dining area is on the second level of the three storey building. A fighting platform is on the third level of the three storey building. The first level of the four storey building is an open room. The second level of the four storey building contains a trap door which holds an altar with valuable relics. When the trap doors locking mechanism is released, anyone standing on the trap door falls through the floor to the first level. The third level of the four storey building is a treasure room that holds a treasure chest filled with gold coins. The fourth level of the four storey building is used as both a lookout platform and a fighting platform. The central simulated stone walled modular section has heavy simulated wood entry doors that open and close. The roof of the central section has four halberds mounted on a rotating base designed to swing downward toward the entry doors when the holding bar for the halberds is released. One of the other simulated stone walled modular sections contains a prisoner holding room with a barred door that opens and closes. There are no extra pieces included with the set. The set was built and then disassembled by the seller to ensure completeness. The set is shipped disassembled.
