Description: Up for bid is a wonderful vintage patriotic postcard. This card features a colorful lithographic illustration provided by Chapman, whose signature appears at the lower-right corner. It's titled "Abraham Lincoln Presenting The Procomation Of Freedom To A Slave." When you supersize image 1 you will see a statue of Abraham Lincoln with an early African American. Lady Liberty stands by watching the scene. The colors are very vivid and the artistry is just great! This beautifully embossed card was printed in pre-WWI Germany and published by the International Art Publishing Co. It has been posted and has a 1913 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on its divided back. Here is a wonderful vintage card that is desirable in so many ways. It will be a fine addition to a Lincoln, Black Americana, Chapman or Patriotic postcard collection. Better bid now, before another collector takes it away forever.
