Description: Lot 10 Vintage WWII Japanese Postcards unposted Here is a group of 11 World War II era Japanese postcards. Ten are color art postcards with divided backs and are in unused condition with no writing. One postcard has Japanese print on both sides and is in used condition. I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Standard size, approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". Colors are muted, and I do not know if these have faded. There is age tanning, light spotting, smudges. Light edge wear overall, with more rubs and creases at some tips. The postcard with a water scene has a surface scrape on the lower corner and more smudges or streaks on the back. The postcard with an adult and child has light water stains on the back. The used postcard with Japanese lettering / writing has more wear and is creased and folded. No musty or smoke odor. Please note: items will not be split for individual sale.
