Description: Nine original flyers from the Mabuhay Gardens, AKA the Fab Mab, San Francisco’s gone-but-not-forgotten punk and new wave nightclub. The earliest two are single-sided and not numbered. The earlier has lists of top songs complied from various local record stores and radio stations. The other has small mentions of upcoming shows in the lower right corner. The other seven are numbered and are printed on both sides. One side is “The New Wave Rotten Record Chart” (or “The New Wave Hot Ten Record Chart”), and the other side is a schedule of shows for the upcoming week. The flyers have been stored in an envelope for many years, and are in excellent condition. No tape, holes, or creases (other than a few small, shallow corner bends). There is a name written on #52. Printed on legal size paper 8.5 x 14 inches. Week of September 15, 1978. This flyer is top ten lists only; no shows announced. Week of October 6, 1978.
