Description: Beautiful Madame Alexander Baby Genius in excellent condition. She was made between 1942-49. Her head is made of hard plastic. Her legs and arms are vinyl. Her body is cloth and stuffed. There is one spot on the back of her cloth body. Hair is sculpted, painted and curly. Face, arms and legs have been repainted. Cloth around arms have been reinforced and is sturdy. She is wearing a lovely, light pink dress with smocking and rosebuds at the top. Lace surrounds neck, puffy sleeves and front on both sides of the tiny buttons. Her full, pink slip is scalloped around the bottom. There is a tiny spot on the front left of her dress, but it is in a fold. Undies are pink and gathered around the legs. She wears pink and white, knitted booties. Her bonnet is made of pink silk and has four rows of ruffles that surround her face. She has blue, open and close eyes that work with thick lashes. She sits up well and would be great on a sofa, chair or bed.
