Description: Mata Ortiz Signed Pottery Piece by Paty Quezada This is a wonderful black pottery pot signed on the bottom by Paty Quezada. The piece is round with an etched design and an opening at the top with an animal figure. Not sure what the figure is, but to me, it looks like a fox. It comes with a pottery ring for resting on as the bottom of these pots are not flat. The piece is in very good condition having no chips or cracks. It does have one little blip to the finish on the front which I have tried to show. It looks as if it occurred during the making of the piece. The vessel measures about 6.5 inches tall and is about 5.5 inches wide. The resting ring add another .5 inch to the heighth. Please review all pictures carefully and email for any questions or concerns before purchase. Payment is expected within two days of purchase through eBay. Also, no combined shipping as sometimes things do not go well together in the same box if they are different weights and sizes.
