Description: This listing is for a Vintage c. 1962 Ray Marshall (1913-1986) Mid Century Canadian / British Studio Art Pottery Candleholder / Vase / Weed Pot. It is signed with inscribed "Ray Marshall 1962" on bottom (photo 6). It has fine sgraffito carved lines around exterior of flared bowl. The tapered foot is carved and stepped. Green and brown glaze on top / interior. Exterior is black and brown. Not sure what its true purple was, but looks mostly like a candlestick for a very small diameter candle. But could definitely be used as a weed pot or vase. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. All rims and edges are perfect! Very clean! Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item). It is very fragile and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 4 7/16" (11.3 cm) across top rim, 3 3/16" (8.1 cm) tall, 2 3/8" (6 cm) at the base, and has a small 5/16" (0.8 cm) opening.
