Description: MINOAN FISHERMAN BRONZE SCULPTURE The Minoan Civilization thrived in the Bronze age (in roughly 3,000 BC) within the Aegean. The fisherman fresco which has inspire this sculpture is one of many well preserved frescoes from the island of Thera (Santorini). Thera was destroyed by a violent volcanic eruption, probably in the 16th century BCE, preserving much of the art there. All our bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method.
