Description: Barovier Murano Salviati Antique Glass Ruby Deco Gold Sparkles 11"h We think and were told this vase is by Barovier during the 1930s or earlier.We saw another vase with pointy mouth, only it had 5 points like a collar. It was by Salviati.This has just the two opposing points, giving a touch of the Chrysler building to an otherwise classic shape. Has very subtle swirling ribs that add dimension and light up the wonderful high cadmium ruby glass. I'm still researching the pressed petal feet, our only nod to Salviati or even Toso. There are gold sparkles throughout the base and sprinkled around the upper rim. (last 2 photos). Has a neat polished pontil mark right in the center. Striking vase in a glowing ruby probably by Barovier, not sure of the changing studio names that early. Amazing condition without damage or issues. 11"h is to the top of the points. This vase is very modern looking and soaks the sunlight glowing. Handsome and pretty too! Ships UPS to the USA and to eBay's eIS center to ship abroad (located for us in Illinois. {Safe service!})
