This little guy was originally gotten from a con yearrrrs ago. Since then, he’s been cuddled, snuggled, then packed up in storage for an even longer time. Recently, he’s been washed twice, roughly within the same week, but definitely within the same month. In the first latest washing, the information on his tag were faded, but somewhat visible. I took photos of it, at that time as a precaution, before deciding to wash him again—and yeppppp that pretty much completely annihilated the text. Before that happened, “Sonic X”, in Japanese, “vol 2” and “SEGA” were readable. As far as flaws go, there’s a bit of tearing/wear just beneath his nose, and what may either be scuffing tucked under the yellow buckle for his shoes or part of the white strip. It looks scratchy like wear, however. Also, there are single threads of extra white hanging from the top of his eye mask. Before the second recent washing, there was a longer one on his other eye than the one that’s visibly obvious, but now it’s hardly noticeable. He’s also got a few fuzzies still stuck to him, but that’s not a horrendous oddity most foul at all and is certainly not a world-ending tidbit. If you have a way for easily lifting the animal fur, you ought to have little issue ridding Sonic of the fuzzies, too. Being sold as-is. Please do not send me messages along the lines of: “I’m just curious to know how you came to that price?”(Which is indirectly telling on themselves for having interest, but wanting the item for cheap to resell in the name of profit, or for collection. Either way, it’s a loaded “question”.) “This toy is junk. I’d only be willing to take it off your hands for $5.”(And if I fell for that, they’d then run off to somehow sell it for 3 times the price I’m asking) “Is that price a placeholder?”(Another looking at a rare item, hoping to nab it for a few bucks.) “So, how much are you really charging for it?” (Likely translation: “I really want this, but I’ve only got lint, a piece of gum and a paper clip in my pocket that I’m willing to somehow pay for it with. Why won’t you haggle with me!?”) Please give him a great new home.🤣
