Here's an Nice 35mm Film SLR Camera--- was a big seller for Canon from the 1980's to the mid 1990's. The legendary Canon AE-1 PROGRAM Camera body with 50mm f/1.8 standard FD lens, plus Retro "Hippie" Strap and it's Instruction Book. PLUS a Five Item Mystery BONUS! It's all in Very Good Condition--- Cosmetically and Everything Working well except for a three small issues. The Exterior of the body and standard lens have only very light signs of use and age --- just a few tiny blemishes here and there, but no real damage. It Looks Great and it's Ready to Shoot. This is a GREAT camera for a "purist" film shooter or for a Student to Learn Real Photography. It was my first "real" camera (not actually this one) back when I was starting out in the 80's. Technically.... I'm not a camera store technician, but I know cameras. I put in a good battery and ran it through some "dry" shooting and testing, and I can tell you it winds smoothly, and the shutter fires crisply at the different speeds up and down the scale. It does have that famous Canon shutter squeak--- (that's the one issue.) But that can be fixed with a professional CLA (or there's other fixes online I hear---- it just needs a drop of sewing machine oil in the right spot). But the Automatic Exposure feature and light meter inside responds to light well, for Shutter Priority Automatic, plus Full Manual, and Full Auto "Program", although I never used Program much--- I preferred to have a measure of "control." The Lens is also in Excellent condition as well--- clean with bright coatings, maybe a couple specs of dust inside, and a slight amount of fungus around the perimeter. (Issue #2) The aperture blades are clean and they works fine, and the focus is smooth and easy. Inside the film chamber it's also clean as well, no problems that I can see---- the seals look OK so it's ready to Go! The battery door has a couple small breaks in it... BUT the Sport Grip holds it in place, so it's not a problem (Issue #3) So it's Not 100% Mint condition, but it's a Really Nice Example. Comes with everything you see--- Camera, Lens, Strap, Sky Filter, 1984 OLYMPICS Lens Cap, and the Instruction Manual. PLUS--- I'll include FIVE Mystery Bonus Items--- another lens, some filters and other useful stuff. Continental US Shipping will be $13.50. I will ship the next day after purchase. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken. But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs, and understand every little bell and whistle. So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns. Unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a 40+ year old item! (and if it was brand new the price would be 50% higher) Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it. As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect. If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it! But.... I can't let people buy something, play with it, break it and then say it arrived that way. I'm an honest guy, but there are many buyers who aren't. What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
