Description: Up for sale here is this set of 2 vintage large potted ADC A8158 power transformers. These are NOS unused but do have some scrapes/scuffs from storage and handling, mostly on the tops. I tested these, and with a 120v input I tested the secondaries at 392v CT (three thinner yellow wires, 784v between two of them), 6.56v (green pair), 3.28v (striped wire to either green wire), and 5.13v (thick yellow pair). Transformers usually test a little high when they're not loaded, and the primary is probably rated at 115v, so I am guessing the specs on this are 375v CT, 6.3v (as 3.15v CT), and 5v. These are pretty big, so they should be good for plenty of current. These have some great specs and would be awesome for building a tube amp. Each transformer measures about 4.25" x 3.5" x 4.5" high, and the mounting holes are 3" and 3.25" apart. Please see my pictures for details and dimensions. US shipping and handling is $15.
