Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Official Award Medal issued for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. 52mm by 190mm, red silk, as made; Reverse blank with no tag. No class or specific award listed so this was not from one of the three Medal classes (Bronze/Silver/Gold) that received the large Flanagan Medal of Award. No damage - the whitish area near the bottom was dust on the outside of the holder I missed when I scanned the ribbon. Ribbon does show some minor wrinkling and a fold near the center. This was an unissued remainder, so no Reverse maker's tag applied or top pin bar as typical when purchased by an awardee. I purchased this a long time ago from an archive someone turned up, very possibly left over from the B. Pasquale Co. of The City, who made these. I am also offering a second similar ribbon and a Pasquale list of awards available from 1916, listed separately. I am happy to combine shipping and hope that someone steps up and purchases all three lots, to keep them together. Given that I have not seen another one of these in the last 10+ years and few if any in the 30+ years I have collected California Worlds Fair material, I would have to say Rare, and I don't typically apply that overused (on ebay anyway) word. Price is of course speculative, and relative, but based upon my own opinion of a reasonable value for this item.
