Description: This is a nice example of a scarce 1948 softcover book entitled "ONE MAN'S WEST" by W. H. Hutchinson. This - like most of the few examples I could find online - is autographed by the author as shown in one of the images. The black & white illustrations where done by John Pagan. It contains 8 factual stories of the Old West; see the image of the Table of Contents page for the list. The book has 128 pages and measures a bit over 9" tall and 6.25" wide. It is softbound like all the copies I've seen but is firmly bound, likely never actually read. It would be called fine condition I think as there is very little in the way of soiling or wear; see the images for a better view. Overall it has been well taken care of. I will ship it well packed and in a zip lock bag at the media mail rate which would be $4-$5 I suspect. I see this on ABE for $40 to $45; my price is much less. Nice Western book published in Chico, CA.
