Description: Ladies Original Jille' Vintage 50s, 60s, Pheasant Feathered Hat, Unique Liven up your millinery collection with this vintage, late 1950s, early 1960s, multicolored pheasant feathered women's hat. The base is black wool felt. The crown and cap feathers are vibrant reds, greens, and spotted tans, while the brim's jet black feathers reflect a stunning greenish iridescence. A thin red velvet ribbon encircles the cap ending in the back with a bow. This unique hat is in very good condition considering its age. White glove care and storage were given to the hat preserving its delicate feathering. It's an original piece made in US by the Jille' company. A "Jille' Original" as the label states. They were very popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s.The hat is ultra clean; features an inner elastic band that can secure it for the wearer.
