Description: This poster was used to encourage the public to make a last final effort and buy war bonds to ensure a quick and total victory. The 7th War Loan raised over $26 billion in 48 days, even though officials were concerned that the defeat of Germany could decrease the sale of bonds. Phil Lyford (1887 - 1950) was an American painter who worked within both the Impressionist and Modernist movements. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and is in very good condition. There has been some minor restoration along the fold marks. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
