Description: Offered for your consideration is a pair of gold trimmed relish dishes made by the United States Glass Company (1891-1962) in their number 15086 "Mirror" pattern. Also known as "Galloway" or "Mirror Plate", this pattern was introduced in 1904. Both trays measures 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) long and are just over 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) tall to rim. The oval tray is 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide, the other tray is 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) wide. The relish dishes are in excellent used condition with no cracks, roughness, nor repairs. There is a single small chip on bottom of one tray which may be a broken air bubble. There may be very faint surface scratches. The gold trim is deep and rich but is worn and weak in places, most noticeably along top of scalloped rims. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. One tray has some unevenness to one window which I try showing in the last photo. Bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections may also be present due to the manufacturing process used at the time. The two trays will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
