Description: This is a Pair of two Soviet era postcards from the same general area, the Caucasus. The first is in the town of Gagra which is right on the border between Georgia and Akhbazia. The building, undoubtedly a resort home of pre revolutionary Russian aristocracy was used as the hotel resort for the 17th Party Congress. No further explanation is on the postcard. The second is a view of the Crimean area in Livadia, perhaps taken from an aristocratic home. This postcard is dated 1962 so would bear no reference to tsarist days. Both postcards are black and white, unposted, and printed all in Russian. I am listing a LARGE collection of international vintage and antique postcards. Russia, Europe, South America, United States. Please view my other listings and visit my offerings again if you are interested. I am happy to combine shipping and handling for multiple purchases.
