I bought these speakers brand new for a job where I planned to use them as distributed delay speakers in a large tent. The event turned out to be smaller and I've since never used these. They are brand new (customized) without the original packaging, About custom modification: These speakers are sold from the factory with NL4 twist lock connectors that are not properly wired. For most users with an NL2 (2 conductor) wire - they will not notice. However, should someone use an actual NL4 wire with a dual channel (4 conductor) line - the original factory wiring could short out amplifiers equipped with a dual channel NL4 output. My modification corrects the wiring to a true NL4 connection standard which can be used normally with NL2 or NL4 connectors without risk, and further accommodates the use of NL4 cross-over cables to enable 2 circuit daisy chains for delays, or other room locations on a single passive cable run. I would not rely on the factory power ratings for these speakers, but I would estimate a 100W per channel amp to work well for this pair. While a budget brand, I chose these specifically for low volume delay speakers on the basis of the enclosure which features a pole mount socket, and the ability to sit as a floor monitor. I liked the enclosure enough to consider that if I did encounter future issue with the drivers - I could simply re-fill the enclosure with better drivers of my own choosing,.
