Description: For sale is a local horn out of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, as can be seen by the engraving on the bell. This is a C melody tenor saxophone in silver finish. Finish is overall good with no major dents to speak of. All the key work moves freely and nothing seems bent or out of place. It will however need a repad to be playable again. As pointed out to me by a vintage instrument enthusiast, this is a stencil of a Pan American made model 50M, circa 1921. The brand is Class-A Artist, which was a standard brand from the Williams Company of Canada. Pan American was a relatively independent manufacturing subsidiary of CG Conn Ltd, incorporated in July of 1919, with its own separate factory opening in November 1919. Pan American had its own serial systems, patents, trademarks, brands, models, catalogs, marketing, distribution, etc. Comes with a case, may or may not be the original one, mouthpiece and tenon protector. I am a musician myself so I know about the importance of packing an instrument well, so you can rest assured. For questions don't hesitate to contact me!
