Recent research indicates that it is extremely weakly radioactive. Considering that its half-life is more than a billion times the age of the Universe, we can still call it stable among elements...and more so than anyone you will ever meet! It is also less toxic than other heavy metals, so YIPPEE for that! Even so, it is a safe bet to assume that there is not any actual BISMUTH present in any of the ingredients (as shown in the last photo), so this is NOT a bar of soap made from pure BISMUTH! I WAS next going to write about BISMUTH'S iridescent "stairstep" crystals being one of the coolest things I have ever seen existing in nature until I read that they are artificially grown. While they are STILL very cool and easily grown at home (Google it!), the fact that they aren't as natural as I thought has left me depressed. Now, I wish I could get my hands on some Lithium-infused 7-Up to fix my mood. (Whaddyamean Huh? Go back and re-read the listing for 3 "Li" Lithium!) IMPORTANT PHOTO NOTE: Besides its gift box, each ELEMENT SOAP comes wrapped in plastic to protect it. I did NOT unwrap these to take the photos...obviously! As a result, the wrinkles, bubbles, reflections, "blemishes" on the lettering (or "missing" letters/numbers) which are ALL evident in my photos, are because of this wrapping, NOT any sloppy craftsmanship in any individual, hand-crafted piece. These are all "FIRST QUALITY" or the Chief Bubble-maker would NEVER have sent these to me! My photos are MY headache!
