Description: Very interesting large specimen of Psilomelane covering Rhyolite. The Psilomelane has fibrous hair like needle crystals some in circular patterns, I have heard the term "rats hair" for this habit used. It covers roughly half of a Rhyolite rock host, but handle with care, it is a thick layering it is somewhat brittle. The backside shows mostly Rhyolite with some patches of the Manganese oxide.
