I used this hitch in a 5.5' bed 2003 F-150 to pull a 7' wide Winnebago Micro Minnie 2405 RL fifth wheel and it easily cleared the cab in 90 degree and past turns. If you're using a fixed location hitch and your 5th wheel contacts your truck cab in a 90 degree or less severe turn, in most cases it's not a matter of if you'll ever crunch your cab, it's just a matter of when. Similarly, if you're using a manual sliding hitch it's just a matter of time until you either forget to extend the hitch or think that you do not need to do so and crunch your cab. The latter happened to me when I had a manual slider. If either of these scenarios applies to you, why not buy this hatch now rather than after you crunch your cab or bust of the rear window of your truck? The jaws also provide a solid connection to the king pin so there is virtually no chucking with the hitch. I recently bought a long bed truck so I no longer need a slider hitch. Hitch has been stored outdoors in my truck and under the cover shown in the picture. It appears to me to be in much nicer condition to most of the other used Superglide hitches I see on ebay. Consider this local pick up only to Midlothian, TX, but I will travel up to 200 miles at 67 cents/mile to transfer the hitch to the buyer. I am also selling the 331708 capture plate needed for my trailer with a Mor ryde pin box to work with the hitch.
