Attach the V-Cutter to your wire strippers making sure to tighten the nut snugly. Pinch the end of the cable that you are cutting to create a void between the wires and the covering. Insert the tip of the V-Cutter into this void and start your cut. Push the V-Cutter to the desired length. Once you've reached your desired length, turn the V-Cutter to the left, pull back slightly and cut right, cutting a "V" in the covering (any shape or size).
