Description: Barely used scanner. Bought it for some NASCAR races. Sat in storage for years. Fully functional, I just upgraded to a different scanner. This is the pro-92A version. The A and B versions use control channel trunking, a data-only channel that gives instructions to the radio telling it what channel number to tune to based on a bandplan. The bandplan is hard-coded into the radio The PRO-92 was Radioshack's dive into EDACS and LTR trunking, and their first Motorola trunktracker not made by Uniden. It also brought a full fledged LCD screen with dot matrix instead of the older 7 segment display with text as their own segments. If purchased at the buy it now price, I will include a customized battery holder that can be used with a scanner. This was not included with the scanner, it was an aftermarket part that I bought for convenience. Again, I will only include it if purchased at a price equal or higher than the buy it now price.
