Description: Offered is the RARE antique 1911 first printing hardcover of the Boys Scouts Of America Handbook For Boys published by Doubleday. Book has significant wear. Three pages are missing. The first end page and the title page are detached from the spine. All other pages are attached to the spine. Several of the 404 pages have tears and others have top corner creases. There is pencil marking on some pages and an apparent name crossed out in ink on the inside of the front board. It appears that information was erased from the certification page in the front of the book. Spine is tight in the middle, front and back boards are stretched. Cover has heavy wear with rubs and frays along corners, spine and edges. Look closely at each photo to see the condition of this very rare collectible antique Boy Scout book.
