Antique ca. 1820, deep blue and white transferware Water Girl or Rebecca At The Well waste bowl. It is signed Clews Warrented Staffordshire. Very rare. Depicts a girl with her dog getting water from a well. The pattern is based on the Bible's Rebecca that drew water from a well for Eliezer and his camels. Realizing she was a good person, he gave her a ring for Isaac to become his bride. This is in the book of Genesis. 1 tiny nick on the outside top rim, and another spot on the top rim that I am not sure if it is damage or happened during the making. Both shown in enlarged pictures. No scratches or gouges. No utensil marks. No major stains or discoloration. No glued repairs or restoration. For an item that is over 200 years old, it is in marvelous condition. The waste bowl measures approximately 2 1/2" in height and approximately 4 1/8" in diameter. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item.
