Description: This amazing brooch is featured in the book Jewelry of the Stars by Joanne Ball on page 144. The book says that it was part of a series of Middle Eastern influenced jewelry that Joseff created. The deep cream coloured faux pearl measures 15mm and is in excellent condition with no damage. The metal is the famous matte Russian gold plate with fabulous vintage patina. Stamped with early JOSEFF mark Condition: Excellent vintage. Very nice warm patina has developed over the years. Measurements: 2 1/2" long and 2 1/4" wide. Weighs 30gmI also have a pair of matching earrings which are from a later era.
