Description: Rare Eldreth Pottery Blue Salt Glaze Santa Claus in Sleigh w/Horse GUC. The tip of one of the dowel rods that insert into the sleigh is broken, but it still inserts and stays in place. Horse is approximately 6 1/4" in length, not counting the tail, and the sleigh is about 5" long. Condition is good with no chips or cracks. Sleigh has a line on one side that may resemble a crack in the photos, but I believe it is from a mold flaw or scratch prior to firing because I was unable to see or feel any break in the glaze.
