The top surface of this magnificent cake stand is decorated with two images of The Ingestrie Pippin apple. The golden apples sit on leafy tree branches. Also pictured are the pink and red blossoms of the apple tree. There is a garland of connecting green leaves around the lower rim of the pedestal base. The cake stand with pedestal stands 3 1/2 inches tall, measures more than 12 inches across, and weighs 3 pounds, 1 1/4 ounces. The bottom is marked: POMONA - The Goddess of Fruit - image - PORTMEIRION - Made in England - 14 in black. The pedestal cake stand is in excellent, like-new condition, with no chips or cracks.
