Presenting a Most Classic, Unusual and Very Rare Historic Antique c. 1890’s-Early 1900’s Masonic Scottish Rite Tray. Probably intended for Business Cards or any small items such as Jewels, Pins, Buttons or even Candy. This has been in our collection for many years. We have never encountered another, A true Museum Piece, it is expertly crafted and decorated with nicely detailed symbols of both the Scottish Rite and Blue Lodge, featuring the classic Mystical Two-Headed Eagle, Eternal Square and Compass, Teutonic Cross, 18th Degree Rose-Croix Cross with Flower, Level, Scales of Justice, 14th Degree Triangle with Hebrew Letter Yod for Deity and small ornate border decorations. At center it says “Compliments of The Season! From A.&A.S.R.& F.M. Valley of Seattle”. The tray might be copper, but we do not know medals. But definitely metal. It measures approximately 5 ½ x 4 inches and is in very good vintage condition with only normal expected minor age wear. There is a very small indentation in the rim surrounding the center wording, but we think it’s a defect in manufacture. It is insignificant, as the Tray is beautiful, historic and very rare.
