Reynolds AR41 Carbon Tubeless Rim Brake Wheelset 700C

Description: For sale is one (1) Reynolds Carbon Tubeless Rim Brake wheelset with Shimano HG/SRAM freehub in used condition. This wheelset has been used heavily, with some cosmetic damage from road debris on the rear wheel. No structural damage to the carbon on either rim and no broken or bent spokes. Rims have never been crashed, but do have about 5,000 miles on them and have been sitting in a closet for about two years, as I've since upgraded twice to Hunt rims both times. Selling because I no longer run these rims and have no use for them, as I very much prefer my Hunt 50 UD carbon wheelset in terms of performance, comfort, and durability. Those rims are tanks,whereas these - like all Reynolds rims - are very difficult to keep true and require regular truing while having quite a bit of flex laterally. These AR41's are by no means performance wheels, but would be a decent upgrade for someone looking for a wheelset for a winter training bike, or as an upgrade from alloy wheels. The specs: 41mm rim depth, carbon rims with alloy spokes. 20 spokes in the front, 24 in the rear. 27mm external rim width, 19mm internal. Reynolds-branded GW hubs. Claimed weight of 1545g, 4-pawl engagement on the freehub. Tubeless ready but both rims need new tape, which I'll take are of upon sale at no additional cost to the buyer. Rims will be cleaned up from the photos before shipping and professionally packed for shipping by my LBS.
