The book is really old, which printed 98 years ago, but not more late re-edition or modern reprint. Fine condition, clean book without dirts, spots and underscores, on the front page pre-war stamps of the Latvian libraries, attrition bindings, tear on one sheet, traces of time (see pictures). Евгений Германович Лундберг (1883 — 1965) - русский советский писатель, переводчик, критик. С 1910 года жил за границей, в Болгарии, Швейцарии. Друг и последователь Льва Шестова. В 1911—1913 годах по совету Шестова и с его денежной помощью слушал в Женевском (один семестр) и Йенском (три семестра) университетах лекции по философии, теологии, истории искусств. В 1914 году вернулся в Россию. Возглавил литературный отдел журнала «Современник». В 1920—1924 годах жил в Берлине, где организовал берлинский отдел Госиздата и Гостехиздата, левонародническое издательство «Скифы». Вернулся в СССР в 1924 году. Вместе с женой занимался переводом, редактированием и изданием произведений грузинских классиков. Eugene Lundberg (1883 - 1965) - Russian Soviet writer, translator, critic. Since 1910 he lived abroad, in Bulgaria, Switzerland. Friend and follower of Leo Shestov. In the years 1911-1913, on the advice of Shestov and with his financial assistance, I attended lectures on philosophy, theology, and art history in Geneva (one semester) and Jensky (three semesters) universities. In 1914 he returned to Russia. He headed the literary department of the journal Sovremennik. In 1920-1924 he lived in Berlin, where he organized the Berlin department of the State Publishing House and Gostekhizdat, the left-handed publishing house "Scythians". He returned to the USSR in 1924. Together with his wife he was engaged in translation, editing and publishing works of Georgian classics.
