Description: Schumann Dresden Salad Plate (s) Flower Swags Gold Laurel Garlands Schumann-Bavaria produced several patterns that coordinate with their Empress Dresden Flowers pattern. This is one of them, although I have not been able to find a name for it. It looks like the Empress Dresden Flowers pattern but has the additional elements of flower swags interwoven with a gold laurel leaf garland. The backstamps say Schumann Arzberg Germany. I have plates with three different floral clusters in the center. Please read the details about each below. No chips, cracks, or crazing. 7-7/8” diameter Design 1/Condition: Large pink anemone-type flower and large purple tulip. Very good used condition. May have a light scratch or two and/or a small mark. Base may have some small marks and minor nicks. Design 2/Condition: Large orange tulip and large pink rose. Very good used condition but there is an area on the rim with some gold trim out of place. Design 3/Condition: Large pink rose and orange anemone-type flower. Very good used condition with just a few light scratches.
