Published by The Religious Tract Society in x 1884 ISBN: n/a Condition: Acceptable Description: Hardcover, brown boards decorated with gold gilt and black stamped design on the front and spine. Worn and faded gilding. Blind stamped decoration on the back. Gilt paper edging on all three sides, a little dust dulled. Grey floral decoration on the front endpapers; advertisements for other illustrated books towards the back. Dedication in italic script on the first blank end paper reads: “Florence R Biddle, a present from her Papa Christmas 1884”. There are no other annotations within, text and illustrations are clean although pages are lightly foxed with occasional spotting. The board edges and corners are rubbed and knocked. The spine has some small tears at the top and bottom. The binding is secure. Monochrome illustrations throughout accompanied by descriptive text. Please email for more photographs or details.
