There are many slots inside desk for your mail, phone, glasses. Plus 2 shelves that have a light that lights up above desk for books plus collectables.Don't believe the chair's by NW. Seat is brown velvet and the yellow paint is peeling off of chair. The desk & chair are for pickup only and from pet-less and smokeless home. With the desk open it's 27in, the writing portion is 12 in. by 28 inches wide. When desk is closed it's 15inches deep and the height is 56in.
