Description: Sessions Mantel ClockResonant ChimeNeeds Minor Repairs This Sessions Mantel clock has a wonderfully full chime. We struck the element and heard it. The clock does not run now. It needs an overhaul. While the present and repairable innards are being worked on, these minor repairs could be attended to but are not necessary unless the buyer wants a perfect looking clock: The face could be changed since this one is crazed. This is not apparent from a normal distance but can be seen under magnification. The hour hand could be repaired or replaced since it is slightly bent at the tip, which does not interfere with the clock's running. The case is in fine condition with some tiny specks of white paint. These can be removed easily. The glass in the door to the face is original and in excellent condition. That door opens and shuts well and easily as does the one in the back that allows access to the works. This door tends to swing open. A simple mechanical alteration will fix this This clock comes with its bob for the pendulum and a key for winding. Please look at the photos. This is a fine old clock that only needs a bit of work.
