NOTE to BUYER: The LCD screen image is not very dark when looking from the top side angle, but darkens when you look at it straight on or from the bottom side angle. It appears that the plastic protective cover is polarized, but I am not sure. It is not that the LCD screen is fading, but just appears lighter when viewed at certain angles. See photos for details. This turns on when the top two metal contacts are connected (by entering water or touching both with wet fingers). When you use the ReSet button on the back it erases all stored data. The unit has been reset, and is in metric mode (meters). I do not know if it can be change to feet. Shipping charges include a portion of the following fees that ebay charges the seller: 1.
