Description: A very nice globe with original lenses and an original body, unfortunately it does have one broken lense. This globe is from the 1920’s, after the breakup of the Standard oil company. Socony stands for “Standard Oil Company Of New York”Display lense is very nice, the reverse lense is cracked in 3 pieces, but is all there and actually still displays OK. The body is an original I believe, it has been repainted poorly, but displays well. This is quite a rare globe (rarity 4 per the Globebook 2020) Add this one to your collection today.
