Description: For sale is a pair of vintage small Christmas angel candles from Tavern Candles by Socony-Vacuum Oil Co. The 5" high novelty candles include two white angels each with two silver stars on their gowns. They have yellow hair with the song book pages finished in same color. Face details are simple with a red dot for mouth and two blue dots for eyes. These pieces is in good vintage condition with minor paint loss and gentle wear including bumps and scratches. There is a small chip on just above the hairline of one angel (photograph 14) and the other has damage to top of wing with missing piece (photographs 4, 15). There is some excess paint. Neither candles has been lit; both have Socony label on bottom with varying degrees of wear. Made in the USA. Approximate Measurements2 1/4" diameter, base 5" high
