Description: This is an excellent copy of Superman No. 78 from DC Comics from June 1993. The Death of Superman was one of the biggest comic hypes ever created. Millions of people were drawn into the frenzy and the result was the beginning of the end of comic book speculation boom. The storyline crossed over four titles, with several adjunct titles thrown in for good meansure. This is part 14 and features the return of the "Man of Tomorrow" with an appearance of Doomsday. This also features a two page poster of "The Man of Tomorrow". This features script and pencils by Dan Jurgens and finished art/inks by Brett Breeding. (All credit info per the GCD.) I grade this book at Very Fine/Near Mint. A ding or two on spine. Other defects associated with grade. Cover and centerfold firmly attached. All pricing will be determined by the Overstreet Price Guide, recent ebay sales and the GPA for CGC graded comics. Overstreet lists this book at $4.00 in Near Mint.
