Description: Sweetheart Stories #318 October 1942 featuring a fantastic Halloween-themed cover from Ernest Darcy Chiriacka with Dracula-esque suitor on the cover. Nothing says romance like vampires and witches. Lead story from Adelaide Humphries and interior illustration by Clinton Spooner and others. Collectors of these magazines know that finding them in decent shape is difficult, and any given issue can be hard to come by. Holiday issues are always special. VG- A nicely presenting cover but some edge chipping, edge-tearing and discoloration. This copy has a few faint red wine drops in the blonde's neck, spooky. Not there are two creases at the right side that might appear to be tears but are just breaks in color (you can see a view of this on the inner cover pic). Nearly complete spine, but coming unglued a bit at the bottom and the front cover is pulling away at the bottom inch or so. Some pencil marking on the back cover. The inner covers are mostly white and in good shape. Some pulling away at the bottom staple at the last pages of the book. Interior pages are square and flat but show browning, still some suppleness. Not high grade but a solid copy of a very succulent issue. I'm not an expert grader, so please look carefully at the many quality photos and determine the grade and condition for yourself. I'm happy to answer any questions.
