Description: Early Teagues Pottery 4" flower frog vase designed by F. Craven (1911-1972). This vase has a center opening and 12 smaller holes around the top. Measures 4" Diameter x 2.75" Tall. From the 1960s and wonderfully cared for with no damage. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The mark on the bottom is impressed "Teagues, F. Craven, Lead Glaze". "Teagues" is the mark of Teague Pottery, opened ~1928 near Robbins, NC by Duck Teague, closed temporarily, then reopened by Duck's daughter Zedith Teague and her husband Hobart B Garner in 1967. Potters at Teague Pottery included: Bryan D. Teague (Duck), James G. Teague, Lester Farrel Craven, Charles Boyd Craven, Zedith Teague Garner, Hobart B Garner, Glory Garner, and Daniel Garner.
