The cover portrays an American Solider carrying his trophy -> a bullet pierced enemy's helmet which has a very well known symbol that represents the German Army. This symbol is covered in the pictures (green sqaure) due to ebays policy. ** The American Rifleman Magazine: October 1943 This Magazine is amazing! It comes from an estate lot of dozens of different guns and ammo magazines! The graphics and colors are still very vibrant. There is no major damage and the spine still securely holds the binding. The page edges have yellowed normally with age. These magazines are nearing 75 years old and have the patina to show it! They were used, and looked at but in a very careful way. The pages are soft and supple, not brittle and hard. The corners may have some sign of normal wear and tear. Each Magazine carries with it the smell of old paper.
