Its primary purpose is to publicize and improve the living standard of underpaid, hard-working people everywhere. He has previously interned for U.S. Senator Dick Durbin in his Capitol Hill office; on the campaign trail in central Illinois for Governor Pat Quinns winning 2010 bid; with the national polling firm Lake Research Partners, in Berkeley, CA; and in the legislative office for the Communications Workers of America union in Washington, DC. He also worked as a Committee Clerk for the 2012 legislative session at the Illinois House of Representatives. Lest you be led to believe hes just another Democratic Party hack, he has been a registered Republican voter in both the 2012 and 2014 primary elections. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield, an M.S. in Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Certificate in Survey Research Methods from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is simultaneously both proud and slightly ashamed to be from Springfield, Illinois, the state capital of the Land of Lincoln.
