In the October 1975 she writes that she had time to catch up on her reading while recovering from her illness. ABOUT THE AYN RAND LETTERThe Ayn Rand Letter, the last of Rand’s periodicals (The Objectivist Newsletter and The Objectivist came before), was a newsletter published from October 1971 to February 1976. It was a 4-6 page letter, published biweekly for a few years but in later years was extremely delayed due to Ayn Rand's recovery from lung cancer surgery in 1974, and a prolonged argument that Rand had with her sister. A total of 81 newsletters were published.
