Description: The Fundraiser's Handbook by Chuma Mmeka Estimated delivery 3-12 business days Format Paperback Condition Brand New Description The Fund Raisers Handbook is an essential resource tool for all students of charity management and individual/organizational fund raisers in Africa. Developed by Chuma Mmeka a charity administrator and fund raiser with years of successful experience raising durable funding for a number of charity projects in Nigeria and Ghana, this handbook is expected to fill the gap created in the corporate charity industry due to the lack or inadequacy of practical knowledge and expertise required to write fundable project proposals for viable charitable undertakings. This paucity of knowledge and effective guide for fund raising in the developing world has forced many a charity organization to close its shop due to their inability to secure grants/funding for seemingly worthwhile projects. This handbook while using previous successfully funded proposal formats and experiences by this author, intends to open the doors to success for all industrious fund raisers and charity organizations in the interest of social development in Africa. It provides practical guidelines and examples for easy comprehension, and an additional resource: the listing of 50 funding agencies known to have funded various development projects across Africa. 50% of the earnings from this book is channeled back into securing nutrition, education, health support materials for the upkeep of very vulnerable orphans in south east Nigeria.
